The team: Your experts
Today, S + P employs around 60 highly qualified experts from various disciplines. Engineers, architects, project managers and consultants work hand in hand in our project teams. They support each other with their practical and theoretical knowledge – always working interdisciplinary to access a holistic set of expertise. By doing this, we can handle complexity, find optimal solutions, and successfully take on projects of varying size.
History:
Our development
Our company history began in 1997 with the establishment of our first engineering office. Step by step, we extended our service portfolio resulting in founding of a planning company in 2002. Since this time we have worked on a variety of projects from process optimization up to complete factory realizations. For example, the VISTEON plant in Düren, which we planned, was awarded the title “Factory of the Year 2003”.
In 2003, we also founded our S + P Academy, a company-owned training platform for the qualification of employees in lean management methods. In particular, the certified Lead to Lean® training was frequently used since the beginning. Already in 2009, the Academy counted a total of 1,000 successfully completed courses.
Due to our strong and ongoing growth we moved to our current office location in 2011 and implemented lean methodologies in its design, laying the foundation for our lean office concepts. In 2017, we expanded the location to include our Creative Space.
Here we are continuously working on the implementation of our vision for the factory of the future and have already realized more than 800 optimization projects and 70 factories. On our way into the future, we are consistently developing our service portfolio and look forward to working together with our customers on their most pressing strategic challenges.
