Future-proof medical technology through process simulation

For many years we have also been working internationally for our clients. We regularly find that flexibility and production in urban areas are playing an increasingly important role. This was also the case with a leading medical technology manufacturer in Singapore, for whom we optimized the local four-storey plant for maximum flexibility and efficiency.

Our team of experts impressively demonstrated how logistics and production processes can be successfully optimized by using simulation. In this project, we supported our client in optimizing their processes so that bottlenecks could be eliminated and long-term, sustainable strategies for further growth could be developed.

The relocation of the production site to a 25,000 m² multi-storey building provided a unique opportunity to create a growth-oriented and efficient infrastructure. The goal: to expand capacity at the Singapore site, accelerate the production of digital health solutions and optimally handle the increased transportation and storage volumes. Our team used various growth scenarios to develop and successfully implement appropriate sustainable strategies.

Thanks to close collaboration with the client’s interdisciplinary team and our in-depth analysis, we were able to guarantee 100% planning security and create three different growth options. We are delighted that this strategic approach has laid the foundations for our client’s future expansion and success in a highly dynamic market.
