“20 years of innovation and progress” – that was the motto of this year’s Factory Planning Congress, which took place in Ludwigsburg on November 13 and 14. It was a great pleasure for us to be represented at this special anniversary event with both an exciting presentation and an information stand.
A central theme of the congress was the question of how factory planners can design flexible factories in order to react quickly and efficiently to changes during the long-term life cycle of a factory. In this context, our managing partner, Dr. Martin Schönheit, presented innovative approaches and international practical examples of projects already successfully implemented by Dr. Schönheit + Partner (S + P) in his lecture “Plant-on-Demand and Digital Twin – Solutions for medium-sized manufacturing companies”. We are delighted that the presentation met with great approval and led to numerous insightful discussions.
Our stand was also a popular point of contact for stimulating discussions and making new contacts. Visitors were not only able to find out about #nxtfctry, the factory of the future with S + P, here. They also had the opportunity to virtually explore a factory designed and visualized by, us using VR glasses, to experience our factory planning with the digital twin up close.
