Handover of Management Responsibilities

At Dr. Schönheit + Partner (S + P), a generational transition in management is imminent:

Effective September 1, 2026, Tobias Schroeders is appointed Managing Director of Dr. Schönheit + P. Engineering GmbH (S + P Engineering). He succeeds Peter Thomé, who, after 24 successful years with the company – including 20 years as Managing Director – is handing over this responsibility to Tobias Schroeders. This generational transition has been planned for several years and implemented in stages.

Tobias Schroeders has been involved in challenging general planning projects at S + P for more than 10 years and has taken on increasing responsibility beyond project work, most recently as Director of Architecture and Authorized Signatory. Thanks to his many years of experience, his professional expertise, and his close ties to the company, Tobias is the ideal successor to continue the path S + P has established and to further develop the company with a clear focus on the future.

Peter Thomé will remain closely connected to the S + P in the future. He will continue to oversee ongoing projects and support us in an advisory capacity as Senior Advisor.

Going forward, Tobias Schroeders, as Managing Director Engineering, will form part of the executive management team of Dr. Schönheit + Partner alongside Dr. Martin Schönheit (Managing Director / Founder), Tobias Kuhnert (Technical Managing Director Consulting), and Enrico Schönheit (Commercial Managing Director Consulting). In this way, we are consciously committing to a leadership approach that preserves our long-standing values while also looking to the future – in the best interests of our employees, our clients, and the long-term development of the company.
