Industry of the Future 2025 – Round Table

It was an honor for us to once again welcome leading representatives of the manufacturing industry to the “Industry of the Future 2025” round table in Cologne on January 30, 2025. At a time of rapid technological developments and global challenges, this event offered a unique platform for a high-calibre exchange on forward-looking technologies and strategies that will shape the industrial landscape and advance Germany as a production location.

The program featured a series of keynote speeches ranging from macroeconomic trends and best practice examples to specific innovations in areas such as artificial intelligence and plant-on-demand – the ideal setting for inspiring discussions and the exchange of valuable insights.

Our great thanks go to:

  • our speakers: Enrico Schönheit and Tobias Kuhnert (Dr. Schönheit + Partner), Stephan Segbers (RheinEnergie), Heinrich Krull (Trützschler Group), Patrick Bremerich (RMC Risk-Management-Consulting GmbH), Dr. Michael Merz (PYREG) and Arne Hilbert (Art-Invest), whose presentations not only informed, but above all inspired.
  • our partners and hosts: Art-Invest, RheinEnergie, INRO Elektrotechnik, eepos and KölnBusiness, whose support and hospitality made it possible to hold this high-caliber event.
  • the students of the Rheinische Hochschule Köln (RH Köln): their commitment to the innovation competition and the presentation of outstanding concepts once again demonstrated the enormous potential of the next generation.
  • the participating managers: Their efforts to strengthen Germany as a production location and make it fit for the future through exchange and cooperation deserve special recognition.

This meeting underlined the importance of networking and cooperation across industry boundaries. We are convinced that the insights gained and the joint efforts to develop innovative solutions will make a decisive contribution to setting the course for a successful future in the industry.
