Industrial Park – Together Unique

The “Together Unique” industrial park was intended to contribute to urban development as a future-oriented district by promoting digital skills, renewable energies, sustainable mobility, and flexible forms of production. The available unused space offered excellent opportunities for this. “Together Unique” was intended to make a significant contribution to achieving the goals of the city strategy “Cologne Perspectives 2030+”. Dr. Schönheit + Partner developed a master plan for this project for the possible realization of the vision of Infineum and HGK.

To realize the vision of the "Together Unique" industrial park, the unused area was divided into two central street axes. The various areas were then clearly defined according to their respective use, with the aim of revitalizing them through innovative employers. A variety of uses was intended to make the industrial park future-proof and flexible. In addition to communal areas with restaurants, sports and leisure facilities, numerous jobs were planned to be created. Among other things, vertical farming, coffee roasters, logistics companies, as well as office space for both start-ups and traditional companies were planned to be located in the area.
