Master planning for expansion and renovation of existing facility

The master plan for the existing plant focused on two key areas, which were integrated into the planning process. In the first step, the existing injection molding production was to be expanded, and a spacious cleanroom added. The next step was to create a new logistics facility in the new building, while the social and administrative areas were to be expanded to include a canteen and additional office space. The aim was to create a holistic factory that would represent a unified plant structure and seamlessly connect the existing building with the new one.

The master plan focused particularly on the systematic planning of material and personnel flows throughout the plant. The storage areas were re-dimensioned with a future-oriented approach, and the production program for 2025 was defined.
The logistics routes were also completely rethought to ensure faster product availability through shorter distances. The project planning aimed to combine the objectives of factory planning into a holistic factory – a plant that appears as a unit despite the new construction and extension.
