New extension building in existing structure

The overall aim of the project was to create an efficient, economical and adaptable production and logistics area for the company’s future growth at its existing location in Neuss, Germany. The existing production and logistics areas needed to be expanded and prepared for the ever-changing requirements of the future. Particularly important was the existing areas’ complete integration into the new building. The project’s focus was to completely restructure the existing logistics processes.

After the initial assessment, our factory planners optimized the assembly and production processes as well as the logistics processes and enabled structured order processing. At the same time, architectural planning began with the first service phases. The basic evaluation and preliminary design ensured that the existing building would be fully integrated into the new structure. The close collaboration between our factory planners and architects ensured a perfect combination of optimized processes and uniform architectural design.

With the preparation of approval documents, the necessary specialist planning was integrated into the project. Their expertise in building services, structural design, fire protection and building physics ensured a holistic approach. In addition, our project steering experts ensured optimal structuring and smooth processes so that the project could be completed on time and within the specified budget.
