Plant-on-Demand – Factory with added value

New construction of a production hall with adjoining administration - the factory with its processes and structures should react flexibly to the constantly changing demands of customers and markets. The façade of the building should not only have an appealing design, but also reflect the company's business in the sense of corporate architecture.

The project comprised the general planning from the basic evaluation to the ramp-up and covered HOAI phases 1 to 7. The general contractor for architecture and technical building equipment was responsible for the overall construction management in HOAI phase 8. In addition, structural engineering and fire protection were integrated in HOAI phases 1 and 2.

A particular focus of the planning was on process optimization and the learning workshop. The order processing as well as the assembly and production processes were structured and efficiently designed. At the same time, logistics were completely restructured in order to optimize processes. The project management by Dr. Schönheit + Partner covered the entire course of the project and coordinated all specialist areas involved in the planning.

An architectural highlight is the façade, which visually picks up on the “on-off” principle and thus creates a direct link to Hager's products.
