Last Friday, our S + P Summer Party took place at the Beach Club on Otto-Maigler-Lake near Cologne, Germany. The weekend couldn’t have gotten off to a better start: Under bright sunshine and with summery temperatures of around 30 degrees in the shade, we spent a wonderful afternoon and evening together with our team, our partners, and children.
Whether in and around the water, enjoying an ice cream in a lounge chair, or playing a lively game of volleyball and cornhole: The summer party offered plenty of opportunities to leave the daily grind behind for a few hours and enjoy the special atmosphere by the lake together.
Also this year, there were some special highlights. In the sunglasses contest, our colleague Robert’s stylish sunglasses took the prize. It wasn’t just the grown-ups who showed their creativity. The youngest guests also wowed everyone with their own project – they got to design a water gun factory. With plenty of imagination and an amazing knack for planning and design, they showed that the architects and factory planners of tomorrow might already be at work here.
Once again, the time we spent together was especially valuable. Many pleasant conversations, shared laughter, and the opportunity to get together outside of our daily work routine made the S + P Summer Party an all-around successful event.
