Sustainability & economic viability: profitably combined

In cooperation with KölnBusiness Wirtschaftsförderung, our team of experts at Dr. Schönheit + Partner has developed an innovative concept for sustainable commercial real estate. This concept is aimed specifically at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Cologne that want to realize their construction projects according to ecological and economic standards.

Our solutions combine environmental protection and economic efficiency in a progressive architecture that can be applied to a wide variety of commercial spaces. Our goal was clear: to make sustainable practices accessible and help save costs and protect the environment.

The maximum variant: a showcase project for Cologne

An outstanding example of our work is the development of the maximum variant, a commercial property model that sets new standards in terms of sustainability. From ecological timber frame construction to efficient photovoltaic systems, this property represents the optimum in sustainable construction. The advantages are manifold: in addition to meeting the Efficiency House Standard 40 EE Plus, these buildings offer long-term cost savings and increased employee satisfaction, among other things, and contribute to a positive CO₂ balance.

This model project is not only a future-proof investment for SMEs, but also represents significant support for the city of Cologne’s climate protection goals. It illustrates how companies can benefit both economically and ecologically by acting responsibly.
