Is it possible to accompany international projects?

We are an internationally active company and carry out projects in and outside Germany. To date, we have completed more than 800 projects in 20 countries – and new ones are being added continuously. Your opportunities are many and varied. 

Can I work from home at S + P?

All employees are free to choose their place of work. Because personal contact within the team is a central component of our corporate culture, all colleagues plan to spend regular days in the office. This promotes communication and trust-based collaboration. 

Can I organize my working hours flexibly?

S + P offers a flexible working time model with core working hours from 09:00 to 16:00 (Mon - Thu) and from 09:00 to 15:00 (Fri). The remaining time can be freely allocated in consultation with the manager. 

Is there a dress code?

A well-groomed appearance is a matter of course for us. At the same time, we want you to feel comfortable, so we don't have any strict rules. With business casual, you'll always be well dressed for everyday office life and customer visits.

We create a personal qualification plan for you, which is designed to last 3 years. You will also have the opportunity to progress to management positions: After just a few years, you can take over project management and take responsibility for teams and projects.

How can I apply for a job at S + P?

Before applying, you can view all vacancies on our job board. There you will find detailed information on the requirements and tasks of each position. Once you have found a suitable position, simply send us your application documents by e-mail or via the application form. We look forward to receiving your application! 

Can I send an unsolicited application to S + P?

You would like to work for us, but there is no suitable position advertised for you? We still look forward to receiving your application and can see together how you can best fit into our team. 

How does the application process work?

Our application process is structured and the same for all applicants. We attach great importance to ensuring that every applicant has the same opportunities and is treated fairly. The process consists of several steps that enable us to select the best candidates for the advertised position. You can find more information about the application process here. 

Which application documents are required?

In addition to a cover letter and a CV, your application documents should also include work and degree certificates. If you are applying for a student job, a cover letter and your CV are sufficient. 

How do I make sure that my application has been received?

You will promptly receive a confirmation email from us that we have received your application and you will hear from us in any case as to how your application is progressing.

Can I reapply to S + P after a rejection?

You are welcome to reapply to S + P after a rejection. This makes sense, for example, if you have gained further experience or acquired new qualifications in the meantime. 

What happens to my documents and personal data?

We take data protection very seriously. Your documents will of course be treated confidentially and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you have any further questions about how we handle your data, please do not hesitate to contact us. 

The job interview

How do I prepare for the interview?

The most important thing first: Be yourself! We are interested in you as a person and want to find out what makes you unique. Speak authentically, tell us about your passions and what drives you. This is the best way for us to assess who you really are and how you fit into our team. Of course, you should know and be able to explain your own CV and the stages that are important to you. Also prepare yourself for technical questions about your specialist area. Think about what your ideas and expectations of us are. Tip: Make a note of any questions you have for us in advance, as you will certainly want to find out more about our company beforehand. 

How does the interview work?

Generally, the initial interview is conducted with at least one colleague from the relevant department. 

How long does the interview take?

The duration of the interview varies depending on the position and content. Usually, an interview lasts 30 to 60 minutes. You will receive more detailed information on the duration and procedure in the invitation email. 

Do I have to work on case studies during the interview?

During the interview, you may be asked to work on case examples or small case studies. This is about recognizing your skills and potential and finding out how you approach certain situations. We want to see how you deal with challenges and how you present solutions. No special preparation is required. 

When will I receive feedback?

Following the interview, we will let you know when you can expect to hear back from us. We understand that it is important for you to be informed quickly about the status of your application. Our aim is therefore to give you feedback as quickly as possible in order to offer you planning security. 

Internship and work-study program

How much time should I bring with me for an internship?

We generally offer internships with a flexible duration. Ideally, you should plan at least 3 months for an internship so that we can get to know each other, and you can take on challenging tasks. However, individual arrangements with the department are possible at any time. Just get in touch with us. 

Can I write my thesis at S + P?

You are welcome to write your thesis with us. 

Is it possible to complete an internship in between the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs?

Yes, at S + P we offer the opportunity to complete an internship between your Bachelor's and Master's degree. 

How many hours can I work as a working student at S + P?

At S + P we offer student employment contracts with a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 20 working hours per week. However, we understand that you also have other commitments during your studies, such as lectures, seminars and exams. It is therefore important to us to respond to your individual needs and offer you the opportunity to reduce your weekly working hours for a short time during stressful exam periods.
